Government funding for children age 9 months - 4 years can be used at Learn and Grow Childminding.

Childcare

For children age 9 months - 4 years childcare is free, there are no additional charges for childcare. Childcare can be taken in full day sessions of 10 hours. For year-round childcare, funded hours can be spread across the year, this usually equates to 2 full days of funded childcare per week. Where there are remaining hours, I accept these as part payment towards another full day, this equates to 2 funded hours and 8 privately paid hours for a 3rd full day of childcare. As a year-round provider I do not offer term time only contracts.

Activities

For children age 9 months - 2 years activities are free, there are no additional charges for activities. For children age 3 & 4 years there is a £7.50 fee for trips and activities. Parents are also required to provide suitable outdoor clothing for these activities. These activities are optional. It should be considered that as a childminder who works alone, where one child is already opting to go on trips, I would have to take any subsequent children on the trip with me - where other children are already opting into fee paid activities, this will be made clear to you during the enquiry process.

Food

For children age 9 months - 4 years meals are charged at £2.50 per meal, per child.

Consumables

Parents must provide nappies, wipes and suncream.
